Fair Energy-Efficient Resource Optimization for Multi-UAV Enabled Internet of Things

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) enabled Internet of Things (IoT) can keep network connectivity when the ground infrastructures are paralyzed. However, its transmission perform will be restricted due to limited energy UAV. In this paper, a multi-UAV IoT is proposed, where UAVs as base stations send information nodes via downlink within flight time. And fair energy-efficient resource optimization scheme for studied ensure consumption multiple UAVs. The problem seeks maximize minimum efficiency each UAV by jointly optimizing communication scheduling, power allocations and trajectories We decompose non-convex into three sub-optimization problems solve them Dlinkelbach method successive convex approximation (SCA). Then joint algorithm put forward obtain global optimal solutions iteratively problems. simulations results show that achieve significant performance improvement, between relative fairness optimization.
